Welcome, or welcome back! It's been a while, hopefully not too too long, but just long enough. Now is a good a time as any to start a blog, right?

This month I will join an esteemed group of panelists at the Critical Context Summit in Detroit on behalf of Bad at Sports. I had the pleasure of attending the summit last year and am super honored to be included in this years program.

You can register for tickets here.

Next month, in addition to celebrating my second wedding anniversary (!!) I will be "exhibiting" "artwork" in the final exhibition of the recently known but currently closing gallery, Selected Works. News about the demise of Selected Works can be found on their instagram.

More updates coming soon! Very soon ;)

What's the T? was a humorous, lighthearted gossip column that ran regularly on BadatSports.com from 2013-15. Predominantly covering the Chicago area, What's the T? also released editions from Miami, Minneapolis, Mexico City and other locations.

Commissioned for the first edition EXPO Chicago, the EXPO REGISTER was produced and edited by Bassett for Bad at Sports throughout the art fair's duration in September 2013. Designed by Clay Hickson of Tan & Loose Press, the REGISTER was released at the fair as limited edition risograph print featuring 4 different color combinations. Additional contributors include Ross Jordan, Caroline Picard, Jesse Malmed, Anthony Romero, Andrew Santa-Lucia, Sofia Leiby, Vincent Uribe, Isa Giallorenzo and more.

The ACRE PAPER was produced and edited by Bassett in collaboration with ACRE and NADA for the 2012 edition of their art fair at the Deauville Hotel in Miami Beach. Designed by Edau, the publication also featured contributions from Domingo Castillo, Monica Uszerowicz, Nicholas Lobo, Nina Hartmann, Jessica Gross, Kevin Arrow, Jim Drain and more.

Evolving from the 2013 EXPO REGISTER, the Pier Review was published in collaboration with ArtSlant and THE SEEN (EXPO Chicago) for the 2014 edition of the art fair. The expanded format of the publication enabled the inclusion of long-form essays in addition to art fair coverage. The Review featured a limited edition print by artist José Lerma, and contributions from Caroline Picard, Alyssa Martinez, Jessica Cochran, Shreya Sethi, Thea Liberty Nichols, Ionit Behar, Sid Branca, Gan Uyeda, Britt Julious and many more.
